How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the app

Open the GoGo Cars app and go to Profile → Delete account. Choose a reason, tick the confirmation box, and submit. This is the fastest route because we can verify your identity from your signed-in session.

Option 2 — From this page

Fill in the form below. It opens your email app with the request pre-written — just press send. We need the mobile number registered on the account so we can identify it and confirm the request came from you.

If the button does not open your email app, write directly to gogocars5477@gmail.com with the subject “Account deletion request” and include your registered mobile number.

What happens next

• We acknowledge your request within 24 hours.
• We check that you have no ongoing trip and no unpaid dues. If you do, we will contact you to close these first — we cannot delete an account with an active booking.
• We delete your account within 7 days and confirm on your registered mobile number.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — name, email address, mobile number, and password
• Your KYC records — Aadhaar number and verification record, Aadhaar and driving licence photographs, and driving licence details
• Your booking and trip history as it relates to you personally
• Your GoGo Wallet balance and any referral credit
• Your referral code and referral relationships
• Saved delivery addresses and preferences
• Your push notification token

Any remaining wallet balance and referral credit is forfeited on deletion. Wallet credit is promotional and is not refundable as cash. Spend it before you request deletion if you want to use it.

What we have to keep

Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain invoices and payment records for 8 years. After your account is deleted these records are kept in a reduced form containing only the transaction details required by law. They are not used to contact you, to market to you, or to build any profile of you.

We may also retain records for longer where there is an unresolved damage claim, an unpaid due, a traffic offence pending against a vehicle you rented, or an ongoing legal proceeding.
